What happened to hating ALL fangames?

I really don't consider those fangames. They are too different from IWBTG. They are more like homages.

I can understand Weegee and Battlekid, but why Pickory? It has it's own ideas for boss fights, areas and such, but in my opinion it's way too similiar to IWBTG to not be a fangame. It uses many sprites from the original, it has the difficulty, the Kid-like Sprite, the gun, the double jump etc. When I see Weegee or Battlekid, I wouldn't think that it's based on IWBTG (a bit), but in Pickory you immediately see the similar look and gameplay.

Maybe he did not mean Pickory as a non-fangame.

Battlekids face is almost identical to the kids, he has a gun and a double jump, it's hard. Maybe not in Weegee but definately in Battlekid you see resembelances but much like Pickory it's stark originality set's it on a clearly different path from a fangame. Pickory is it's own game as much as Battle Kid or Weegee just because you see more of the original in it doesn't mean it should be categorized as anything less.
