I think the clock is missing a few minutes here and there, probably when it loads stuff I guess. But the death counter is definitely screwed. I'm sure I died more than once. And no, I didn't press F2 to restart

If the difficulty read impossible, 3 icons would be present. Heh of course, there are no vids so it didn't happen. The best I can claim is 2.

Yeah, it sucks when you are going through Impossible, and the game freezes up.  Unlike the other difficulties, you have to start all over again.  But yeah, the death counter is a little borked up.

Seriously guys, with the apparent slight differences in time and death counts aside, how can you guys possibly do so well in this game? I'm simply amazed. Any pointers?

I personally think the only thing that you need to play this game is some persistance, diligence, and willingness to keep throwing yourself at it despite what it may do to you. Eventually you might succeed on pure luck!

...One other tip- try to be relaxed and take things a step at a time. Sometimes a part that seems impossible one day might be doable another.

also buy mega man powered up, design a series of levels that are about as cruel as IWBTG minus the random death traps would be, and then force yourself to beat them.  all 18 of them.

Actually just playing the challenges in Mega Man Powered Up at all is good practice. Some of those are really mean, and if you mess up you have to start up all over again... it's good practice. >_>
